Ahead of the summer season, Villa d’Este confirms this year’s Villa d’Este Style events celebrating elegance on the shores of Lake Como.
The showcase begins on 1 June with One Lake One Car, an opportunity to admire legendary Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 SS “COUPE’ VILLA D’ESTE” classic cars, jewels of car manufacturing that bewitch car enthusiasts with their iconic beauty. Villa d’Este once more renews its collaboration with Registro Italiano Alfa Romeo.
The event at Villa d’Este on 1 June, strictly reserved for models belonging to the “6C” dynasty, will set the scene for Concorso d’Eleganza “RealAlfa” on 2 June at the Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese. This way, Villa d’Este will pay tribute to the 6C 1500 designed in 1927, contributing to the global success of Italian cars.
Between 1949 and 1952, thirty-two cars were built in Milan by Alfa Romeo and Carrozzeria Touring: today, less than twenty exist.
The unique setting of the Hotel Villa d’Este in Cernobbio will host some of the famous Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 SS, accompanied by a careful selection of luxury cars from the 1960s.
